Rehabilitative Harness Systems & Positioning Aids
Rehabilitative Harness Systems are specially designed straps and fastening systems that are used to securely hold children and adolescents with disabilities during transportation in cars or airplanes. These harness systems provide additional support and safety, especially for children and adolescents with motor limitations who may have difficulty maintaining an upright position during transportation.
A rehab harness system consists of a combination of shoulder, waist, and leg straps that are typically individually adjusted to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The harness system is then attached to specific anchor points in the car or airplane.
