- A wooden box contains insert strips into which stroking elements are inserted. These are provided with materials of various tactile properties (e.g. with coarse linen, aluminum, leather, nubby rubber, etc.). The basic idea of the stroking game is that children stroke each other with the stroking elements, perceive them and, with their eyes closed, find out the corresponding elements in their insertion bar. This idea can be varied in many ways, resulting in different ways to play. The petting game helps children to learn about their emotions and to express them. In addition, perceptual skills and linguistic communication are trained, memory, thinking and recognition are promoted. While playing together, social behaviors are learned and practiced.
- Contents/Material: 2 wooden inserts with 9 stroking elements each, made of different materials, in cotton bag, instructions.
